The interesting thing that studies have shown is that a "happy man" is a happy life. A man is most content and confident when they're doing well, then women are attached for resources and protection, because it's harder to do better

It's also been shown that men who are with a woman with higher SMV are happier also have longer lasting relationships because of similar reasons
