TLDR: Feeling grateful.

EDIT: GRAMMAR

Hatred is powerful as it is a tool to show you what to avoid. However I see MGTOW as ultimate accountability, self-awareness, and self-respect among many other vital internal facets. I'm now starting to see comedy of my own hatred towards women. Hating them is now, to me, more ridiculous than signing a marriage contract.

There is understandably a lot of hatred for the other sex on this sub. Hell, I've exhibited highly resentful behavior towards them on here. And it was therapeutic, but never a destination. Other men may do this for even longer, perhaps forever, as this is quite literally one of the few spaces you can truly do so. This is a good time to mention that I'm pretty young, and have not been through the ringer, so that's clearly a privilege and an advantage; for context.

Of course other men and women are going to see these posts, and there are countless, and come to their own conclusions. Hatred, rage and anger are all pertinent parts of especially this MGTOW subreddit. Mere parts, not the sum.

At this point I see the folly of hating women. I'm just about out of gas, and I believe this is the point of this sub for many. You show up, you vent, you become accountable for all events even those mostly out of your control, and you move on. I'm very lucky to have found this place. I could pinpoint where the self-loathing and rage stemmed from, face it, and move on.

Of course, I'm still going to interact with women. And I'll treat them like human beings. But of course I have boundaries that I will, until death, personally enforce.

Women and alcohol is a no for me. Consent cannot be argued as given at all when even slightly inebriated; hell, it can be very possibly withdrawn when sober. Something I will never forget. I will always recognize the risks and be responsible for the possible unwanted outcomes. A marriage contract? Can't get divorced if I don't sign. Living together? I don't even like living in close quarters with family, so this is slightly more a personal preference than just wanting to avoid the murky legal situations when living with a partner. Children for me is by far the hardest part. But I reserve the right to not have them if I deem the current state of life being one where I don't even have the chance raise them to my liking; ignoring that doing so in a more ideal situation would already be daunting. These are just a few boundaries that come to mind.

So. I want to thank you for helping me get here. For the past few weeks I've been sleeping better, feeling better and just overall much, much happier. Literally nothing has changed in my life besides mindset. Just gotta work on my discipline. I can trace this starting from around November last year. I know for a fact that this sub is responsible. Doesn't mean life got any easier, just lighter.

I'm not gonna be the hypocrite that bashes men for woman-bashing after doing the same myself, but I'm probably just gonna make some neutral to positive posts like so many are already doing.

Thank you so very much. I mean it.
