Yeah.. what title says.. she's currently in girl guides. Asked her why? Oh they do more fun things there etc so I'll leave guides and join them. Had to explain to a 7 years old that it's bs and I feel like girls should be able to have their own space and guys should be able to have their own space and she'd be part of the problem. If girl guides isn't fun enough then they just need to step up their game instead of invading guy spaces that are more fun. Typical how her mother has already made up her mind before even discussing it. Wasn't much different when we weren't getting divorced

Edit: Actually as I dig into it more looks like sadly Canada hasn't had any safe space for boys to be boys for a while. Unlike America Scouts here had a long history of accepting both... Eh I'll talk to my daughter about it. Just wish I wouldn't be surprised by these things all the time. Guess nothing was really ruined because it didn't exist the way I thought. Sad.. no wonder we are so screwed here.. whether it's school or whatever almost no make influence other than myself for them
