Haven't seen it yet, but if it follows the book, then is should be a good movie regardless of who's in it. If I remember correctly, the book didn't have any major female characters, if any at all.

You should also watch The Gentlemen. I was told it's one of Guy Ritchie's best, lots of comedy and not sexist.

Is it based on the jack london book?

It was a good book. But from what i can remember, i dont know how well it would translate to the screen, without some sort of cgi talking dog. It would be like trying to make a movie out of Raptor Red.

Without giving away any spoilers, there was a decidedly MGTOW vibe from Thornton (Harrison Ford's character). Two or three scenes really stand out; you'll know them when you see them (one about groceries....). Not a big fan, however, of the sparse amounts of woke agenda that was in the script which apparently deviated from the original book. The CGIed Buck didn't detract terribly from the story, for me anyway.
