We all know that you can only go your own way so far as your circumstances allow you.

You can say you are going your own way, by not marrying, and avoiding society bullshit. But if the government raises your taxes enough, then you are no different than a man in a marriage.

You can still try to go live off grid. But you would need certain skills that you cant realistically acquire fast enough. The government or anyone outside of the government could still find ways to fuck with you.

Or you might be too isolated, and risk your own life with other dangers.

We could say that mgtow is the basic instinct of the hunter gatherer primal man that survived in small groups, and was always ready to walk away. Hard to impose taxes on that type. Hard to shame him into marriage, or sedentarism. Impossible to control a man that praises above all his freedom.

But the problem is, that not only, were we conditioned into accepting these societies as they are, those around us, our fathers and forefathers, and our environment was also conditioned so that we cant envision truly what we are, or once were.

There are still men in this world, that reject everything for a chance at freedom, or the best possible scenario within the circumstances, and that for me is connected to mgtow, which for me is more than a lifestyle, its a basic male instinct.

But there is always a limit. A line where, the government or society itself will try to intervene, or will try to steal your stuff.

I call that the Dryden line, in reference to Albert Dryden, a man i consider was going his own way.

Albert Dryden, was a steel worker living alone in his house and property away from society. Was a peaceful man, until the government started interfering with his life.

It is obvious, that when you are a single man, and you have property and resources, the government sees you as a nuissance. Like an escaped slave, that they must punish exemplarly.

A man that is married. His property, and the fruit of his labour will always go to society and women. Always. Whereas a single man, the fruit of his labour goes to himself.

So society tends to see these individuals as rebels, if not subsconsciously, that on one hand it triggers their curiosity, and on the other their fear. Like bitches that hate you, but at the same time want to be like you.

One only has to see the ammount of people that joined together around Albert Dryden property that day, to understand how society perceives these men. As if they are jealous of them, and at the same time, they admire him, and at the same time they want to destroy him for fear. Thats because the lives of the average drone are empty.

So just because Dryden wanted to build in his own property society made such a big deal out of it, and turned it into a big drama, that resulted in bloodshed, and destruction of lives. All because they have this kind of fantasy to fuck with men that are free, because they themselves know, they will never be free. Like crabs in a bucket.

That is the Dryden line. The line that if it becomes evident that you are crossing, the crabs in the bucket will try to destroy you.

It is very clear, that society used that as an excuse to fuck with Dryden. Sure Dryden could have try to manage it in some other way. But you tell me, that this was not all because they really had nothing else to do, but to try to destroy a free man, and get his stuff.

Thats the Dryden line. A line that mgtows must be careful in crossing, because they will attract attention from the crabs in the bucket, that are unhappy with their lives and with their cucked marriages, and have nothing else to do. And they will band together. Like tradcucks and leftists are capable of joining together against free men.

So be careful, and be aware of the Dryden line. The line that you may cross in your quest for freedom, that will attract attention and jealousy from the drones. And that can be fatal.

If anyone wants to know more details about Albert Dryden, i found this video of Count Dankula to be very good:

Be prudent when it comes to the Dryden line. Society is like the crabs in a bucket. They will find reasons to fuck with you, just because your mere existence and prosperity poses a threat to their selfimage and their ego.
