Everything is a deceptive negotiation, be it game, war, politics, sales... I think there are some important comparisons to be made. We don't study Machiavellianism here for a joke. Political philosophy is definitely worth throwing around when it's relevant. Anyone who doesn't tie 'progression' and leftism together with feminism and declining moral standards is a fool.

Having said that, the adult punch and judy show of 'politics' certainly has little place here, unless we have something to learn from a specific power interaction, quote etc. In summary, lessons can come from anywhere, and you better believe gender dynamics and politics are inexorably linked.

Politics is pretty simple. Parasites vote to stay attached to the hosts. The hosts vote to be free of the parasites.

TRP preaches independence, which naturally leans toward a more right wing conservative mindset.

OP is wrong on this. Politics is the "activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power." The "individuals or parties" are obviously people, and TRP is the pragmatic application of rules empirically derived from the observable aspects of people - specifically their nature, motivations, and behavior.

So, TRP and politics are tied together since they are both concerned with the balance of power - the former on a personal level and the later on a societal level.

Good post that will piss a lot of people off. The truth always pisses people off.

Politics is the same as religion, it is like saying I am a _______ who is TRP, unless you are high up in that religion and using it to further your own agenda you are BP.

The divide between politics and religion is a modern one. In the past the King, Sultan, great Pompah or what ever was usually King and a high priest of some sort. The reason is politics/religion are what is used to control people.

The argument that religion X has some RP beliefs is a case of bait and switch. So the RP beliefs are wrapped in BP qualifiers.

Of you solely blame societies problems on a decline in some political party or religious belief, then you a BP plain and simple. Cause and effect is never solely linked to one factor it is a combination of factors.
