I've been a lurker on this sub for a whole, while not agreeing with all of views posted here, I did stand by quite a few of them, till now. Still shaking as I type this.

Less than hour ago I was beat up by a girl's insecure boyriend because she decided to show him our chats in which we made rather crass jokes. He took my phone, posted all my chat's online, smashed it and publicly humiliated while she stood by and said nothing. She even baited me there by making a call to me saying that she needed emotional support as she had recently broken up. Needless to say I was baited like a bee to honey. Looking back ok our 1 a bit year friendship( I thought we were very good platonic friends), I can now see all the red flags, like how she would only approach me when she needed me, all the chat's were one-sided. I had previous trust issues previously from cheating but I thought she was different. Using me at her own disposal, playing with me, fuck that I'm out.

Peace to all my brothers in the subreddit, I understand what it's all about now, don't waste time on girls, it all ends up the same way with you wasting your time and emotion in a wasted place when instead you could be working on yourself.
