Sure, I’ll be the “rebound guy” that helps you through the divorce... then halfway when I built a relationship with your 3 kids and gave you thousands of dollars, your ex comes crawling back and you obviously choose him over me because he’s the father of your children.

How about get through the divorce first and then come back after a few years... rather than get revenge on this guy pretending that you’ve “moved on” to make him jealous.
