If you invest 150 dollars a month or more, you can easily approach being a millionaire. Most wont and can’t do it but want to share some basics to show how compounding works

This is easy, pay yourself first. If you do more, the payback is even better!!

I've been asking since I was 16 how to invest. I'm 22 now and I still dont have a clue. People tell you "do it" but dont say "how".

Roth IRA and 401k isn't a thing in croatia and people say never to invest it in a bank.

If I knew what to do I'd jump on it.

Best financial advice I was given is invest as soon as you can. If possible set up an auto transfer every month into a low cost fund. If it’s taken out before you get your check, you won’t miss it.

If your company matches, invest the max needed to get the full match at a minimum. After that it depends on the fund selection you have through work. Some might be good, if not don’t be afraid to talk to a financial advisor or do your own research fo all investments above the match amount.

Good on ya man, not that you need any advice but for anyone out there: keep goin even when its lookin like shit (I was at a loss for all of 2017) And get yourself a good advisor who will help you with disipline, picking good funds/markets and diversification.

Just as a side note (in Canada with our shitty world stage dollar), 8% is actually quite realistic. The hard data on my as of Dec/16/19 was 7.84% overall and 14% year over year.

problem in Australia is you pay tax on interest earned in a bank account, they class it is income.
