You are overlooking the fundamental differences between female and male pair bonding and the effect of an abundance of partners on a hypergamous female. I would posit many men would still end up content and wont divorce their new fat wife.

I suppose if I were a woman I'd be like my sister, who is more successful than me but who is not as talented musically. I can't say I'd want to trade spaces with her just based on that. But she's definitely a cc rider although she prefers relationships. She just can't find a dude that doesn't have this or that issue. I just shake my head sometimes. She was a teen mom so she never had access to a decent dating pool.

I can't help but think that if I was a woman I'd probably have settled down pretty early (and not gotten knocked up in HS). It's hard for me to imagine bouncing from dude to dude and deriving any sort of satisfaction from that kind of life, as bouncing from chick to chick is just as existentially vapid to me now.

Based on this I feel you've missed a mark. Also, thinking about it more I don't understand the point of your post.
