I disagree with his conclusions and solutions, but he's got a sharp wit and a good understanding of the problems. Drug addict - ye, he's getting help for that. But he's no whiner. He will readily confront those who have a different opinion on matters - if they'll let him.

he also promotes extreme individualism and anti collectivism which is insane cause you will be destroyed by a group of 5 or less , which is why libertarian-ism is a pipe dream. The collective with its sheer size always win even if their quality is 60% or even lower of said individual by objective standards. That is why the best way to do it is control the sheer mass collectivist which is why 99% of human civilization has existed strictly as an oligarchy, even monarchy, facism, communism, capitalism, monopolism, and all the other isms are actually an oligarchy and has always been this way.

I’ve listened to Peterson loads, he’s basically a Protestant fundamentalist... he’s rich as fuck, yet claims Jesus is his guiding light, which is a huge contradiction. He repeats the same thing over and over, talks about Disney films like he’s taken copious amounts of psychedelics, he’s a self help guru who has spent a large majority of his life on antidepressants (and I understand he is now in rehab), he believes in a massive conspiracy within the educational establishment (although to be fair, I can see why).... recently when asked to name one predominant modern Marxist, he couldn’t, even though he claims they are everywhere. Ironically, I agree with a lot of his opinions and what he has to say, it is just that he claims not to be an ideologue, when he is the very definition of the word. He travels too far out of his own area of expertise, his economic stand point is basically that of a 15 year old who has just read Ayn Rand, and his understanding of evolutionary biology is laughable and cherry picked to suit his narrative. Ultimately, have a listen if you must, but don’t start idolising him and certainly don’t buy into his products or his tiresome “clean your room” moto.

I've watched a small bit of his stuff. Can't say I'm a fan. Just loves hearing his own voice. I actually find him fucking annoying to listen to. As for what he says? I don't know because he says 1,000 words when 3 will suffice.
