For some things, you have to try something first, and see the outcome before you can ensure it's never allowed again.
The difference between women being allowed to influence the Roman Senate verses today is we have visual and statistical data which proves women are not to be trusted with power as they are unable to remove their bias.

Actually in sweden, a lot of personal information is out there for public view. Social number, phone number, marital status, income, home adress etc... All you need is google or go to local tax office.
