Currently, it seems that a lot of folk here are intent on demonizing women. (Not that they don't do plenty to make that easy to do!) However, I just recently discovered MGTOW, and that seems inconsistent with the original premise of not trying to change the status quo, but just disengaging. (To "head into the wilderness" to try to forge a new life?)

When you're still fighting with them, then you're still trapped. I see a lot of accusations of cheating, and in my experience that hasn't been the main or even a significant issue, leading me to believe a lot of this stuff is propaganda. In my experience it has been about control and domination (and perhaps only cheating when it comes to not fighting fair). Oh, and there's also the exploitation, like stealing one's kids and financial support, which, I will grant you, CAN'T BE WARNED ABOUT ENOUGH!!!

So, what I've been reading here (e.g. the references / Vilar and Heraclitus) and the essays makes me think there's got to be more to it than just all the venom and mud-slinging. Can anyone relate to that?

Or, else, maybe those folks have already "gone their own way" and left this site?? lol
