Get a vasectomy and you'll never have this ethical dilemma again, why leave any of this responsibility in a woman's hands? She'll always choose the way you don't want.

All young men need to get and abortion to protect themselves if they are having sex. Some women will even pick condoms out of garbages and impregnate themselves.

I have thought about this a few times and I agree that it would be fair, in principle, to have a law allowing men to decline their parental rights and responsibilities to a child given that they have no choice in whether their child is aborted or not.

The trouble is I don’t know how a system like this could be implemented without causing societal problems - and I mean more than just blue haired feminists marching the streets screeching about misogyny. For a start, there would have to be some sort of deadline as to when the father would legally make this decision. Trouble is some women don’t even realise they’re pregnant until their waters break and that will be used to argue the case that a man can’t just make this decision once the child is born, since a ‘financial abortion’ could possibly influence a woman into having an actual abortion. So now, if you’re a woman who wants to get pregnant to keep a man around you will secretly get pregnant and not let him find out until you’ve already given birth. This is incentivising deception.

Perhaps you could get around all that by having some sort of ‘opt out’ system where you make a legally binding decision which effectively prevents you becoming legally responsible for a child until you willingly reverse it. But then you might say men will use this deceptively or they will be less likely to use condoms and spread STD’s or all this is just promoting abortion as a form of contraception and we will end up having thousands more abortions. Then, naturally, what about rape?? Is a rapist entitled to a financial abortion if his victim wants to keep the baby? A lot of people are going to be accused of a lot of sexism and of being nazis.

Frankly, I’ve had enough of the whole thing just typing this out. And, since society is a thousand light years away from being able to have this conversation you may as well forget it and just heed the following advice: If you don’t want children then just use condoms, acquire and dispose of them with a great deal of cynicism and paranoia and pray to your highest being of power that this approach never fails you.

Can't we just call it "abortion in the 40th trimester" if you decide to kill a 30 yr old?
