Taking "Yes Means Yes" to its logical conclusion, we will eventually see it instituted as a requirement that all people engaging in voluntary sexual activity will have to sign contracts, have them witnessed and notarized, and registered with the proper government agency in order for it to not be considered rape.

Ignoring the fact that the NSA is monitoring all of your communications right this second, this essentially means that the government will have an official database of all (legal) sexual activity. Anybody who engages in sexual activity that is not documented in a signed contract may be prosecuted for rape - even if all parties involved were consenting. We see the word "rape" being redefined as "illegal consensual sexual activity" in a very 1984 Newspeak way. All sexual activity is either "legal" or its "rape". There is no in between. Since two consenting adults can be charged with raping each other, that means rape will be reduced to a victimless crime - AKA a crime against the state.

There is a disorganized movement supporting Eugenics - the idea that the state gets to decide who will and will not reproduce. Barack Obama's Science Czar John Holdren wrote a book advocating forced sterilizations and abortions in order to "save the planet from overpopulation", and it's not hard to find people on the Internet calling for sterilization of the "mentally unfit". There has been a history of Eugenics in the US that gets buried by the history books.

I believe that with the direction this country is going, someday Eugenics will be reinstated. With the "Yes Means Yes" database, the state can determine if a pregnant woman engaged in legal sexual activity or not. If the baby is illegal, the mother and father will be prosecuted for crimes against the state and forcibly sterilized, and the baby will be forced to be aborted. For the good of the state, of course.

Good intentions are no excuse for bad laws, and Yes Means Yes is going to have terrible consequences when it is mixed with the Orwellian state that our government is devolving into. There is nothing feminist about it whatsoever.
