Think about the people in your life. Your father, mother, friends, exes, whatever. How much happiness have they brought to your life? Some have brought a lot. But most do not. Most people bring misery and a negative value to your life.
If you're the kind of person who would rather be paid $100 a day to live alone and not talk to anyone, then I have some words for you.
All things being equal, people are a net negative to your life on average. You need to spend time to take care of their emotions, have the proper manners, make the proper preparations to be presentable, communicate with them with little or no clue if they are going to drop you at any moment or flake on you. People can be in your life one moment and disapear the next day. All the time, effort, all gone.
Now let's compare that to money. All the time and effort you put into your money. Your job, your career. For 99.99% of all scenarios, money will be with you tomorrow. The day after tomorrow. Any plans you have with your money, it will be there. You wanna save up to buy a boat? As long as you save, money will be there. You want to stuff the money under your mattress and ignore it? It will still be there.
So why did I say $100 a day at the beginning? Because between the time you spend communicating, the money you spend to go out, the opportunity cost, emotional turmoil, interacting with people costs you $100 a day.
The point is that money lasts longer than people. Money is more stable than people. Money buys you happiness while people, on average, do not add happiness to your life. Even if they do, they are more likely than not to dissapear tomorrow.
So fuck people. Don't listen to them because they won't be around. They aren't living your life, you're on your own path. You're taking nobody along and you might have some people around you for a while. But they aren't walking your path so they don't have the right to tell you what to do.
Money, on the other hand, follows you. It protects you. It nurtures you. It gives you the things in life you want. is the ultimate happiness. Money is the absolute greatest.
And anyone who says otherwise must not have had enough money to solve their problems.
