What are your opinions on the type of women who say “I’m not scared of anybody, especially a man!”

I am starting to notice nowadays how some women are extremely confident that they can take anyone on, especially men. Many women I see at college, work, and even family, claim that they don’t need a man in their life, while whenever something breaks down you always see them standing in the background or getting in the way or just downright complaining.
