This is changing... well, some of it. Women are going to prison, they are becoming homeless, they are dying because fewer men are protecting or rescuing them, etc... It's slowly changing. Women wanted out of the house and men had no choice but to let them leave. Now, we're changing the locks.

Society is oppressing women, with all those men dying, there will be less men left to give women half their $$$.

Its best viewed as a piramide consisting of three sections. The very top of it has a small group of men who fell into wealth, were born with it or pursued it with enough luck on their side. Then the entire middle section, which benefits from things like welfare systems to keep them going during bad times. This group has the female majority and has to work the least for the things it has. Then the largest group which is entirely ignored by the other two is at the bottom with an overwhelming male majority. The least oppurtunity, the most responsibility and the worst quality of life. Because that group is ignored the only men that are seen are the few on top, creating the illusion that men as a whole are better off.

They outlive us, but somehow we're oppressing them. Think the black slaves outlived their masters? Think the Jews outlived the Nazis?
