Personally I've shifted my investments to a new profile to take that into account should that situation occur.

It'll come down to the U.S. election unfortunately and whoever the Democrats run.

Actually none at all. Recession is IMO mainly based on what the main stream media is saying. Yes economy has "tidal waves" but they are IMO 95% exaggerated by MM. I've seen this cycle repeat itself since the internet bubble in the 90's. Everything was "fantastic" back then. Then came a recession and we would be thrown back to the stone age. Really: this whole thing is part of the matrix, OP. The ""guys/ gals"" in charge create these "cycles" so mr stupid can sell/ buy stocks right at the wrong moments. Don't fall for it. When the MM is crying wolf of the recession, take a close look at the stock market. Buy stocks when the journalists are almost crying on the screen. I haven't been buying for quite a while now. Because media has portrayed things are going "so wonderful." Now they seem to change tone again. So I'll keep my eye on the stock markets the coming time. When all the fools panic sell I'll start placing buying orders.

No way to know. I'm an engineer who makes just into six figures.

But if the shit happens I can get by on three, maybe four, shifts on minimum wage and still pay the bills. I learned to live minimally long ago.

That gives me three or four days a week to do what I want. That's not a bad way to live.

MGTOW buys things that either appreciate or have long lifespan. Women buy things that end up in trash after 3 months.

No idea, just prep for it, keep your expenses low, not more than 50% of your after tax income. keep 6 - 12 months of income as emergency funds and finally, look for multiple streams of income, whether its side-hustle, dividend paying stock, REITS.

2020/2021 Recession

Well, recessions are cyclical, so surely we're going to have one, we just don't know when. Maybe next year, maybe now.

How do you guys think the recession will affect both mgtow and women?

A recession affects most people, but not all. My guess is that it would affect women more than MGTOW.
