Last guy that laid a hand on me in anger had his head smashed into the asphalt until he stopped. You did not react back, that is how you act to a shit-test from a female but not from threat of physical violence.

Add on the fact you got in an argument at a party. Just non-respond, be willing to walk away. I don't do parties and avoid this type of crap, especially at your age parties are where the few natural alphas want all the women and anyone stopping that agenda in any way will get violent because kids are dumb at that age. As for your friends, we didn't get the whole story but actual friends stick by each other exactly when this kind of shit happens. I prefer to have four quarters than a hundred pennies when it comes to friends and it's never gotten me in trouble yet. Sit down and re-evaluate who your friends really are, think about what you did wrong and what you did right in this incident.

Let me tell you a story...

Was at bar and start talking with a guy. He once wanted to be a policeman, but got into some trouble so he was prevented from joined. To make this short... we go bar hopping and get pretty buzzed. Then we go down an ally and there's this kid sitting on the ground with another girl nearby also sitting. My "acquaintance" (barely know the guy) walks up smiling and is giving all signs he is friendly. He then does a full on leg kick to this stranger for no reason and knocks him out cold. We run away. This is like a full scale felony and I'm thinking "what the fuck am I into". Eventually we get to another area in the city and he goes off talking with someone else and I slip away unseen and go home.

Don't take MMA or even the hint of it out in public.

Start listening to your instincts and be street wise.

It is your fault and you do need to calm down. Don't get in arguments at parties. It's rude, makes you look stupid and is generally unbecoming of a man who values himself. If you're arguing you don't have your own frame. What did you have to gain from arguing? What good would have come from it? Is there any possible way either one of you would have said "you're right, I'm so glad you explained it to me."? No, its an argument not a debate. And its a party not a forum.

Comments here blaming your friends are wrong. They removed you from the situation, which you needed. It doesn't matter who's right and who's wrong. By arguing you already are wrong, both of you.

A fully mindful and centered martial artist wouldn't argue with drunk ass holes at parties.

This is completely your fault and completely avoidable. Have fun at parties, be unflappable and witty, not hot-headed and pedantic.

I often read about young RedPillers who go to overt with RP, and as such come off really bad to BluePillers. You HAVE to keep RP secret in real life. Even blue pillers learn with age to keep their strategy hidden, if they say "I told you all my feelings, now you have to fuck me!" that would be both creepy and cringeworthy.

If you just keep frame, and keep supercalm but NOT weak: 99% of those types of arguments will either lead to the other person calming down or the bystanders picking your side. Either you lost your frame or you played the social game bad.
