Yeah except single moms as well as low income families get subsidized housing because they are doing the best they can and still can’t afford it, whereas a man who leaves their child and is ordered to pay child support and then does not support them may go to prison. Same as when (rarely) a mother has to pay child support if the father is raising the kid alone.
