Not arguing morality, just practicality. No sense calling her an amoral bitch. The brutal calculus makes sense from her POV. A raped man is weak man, showing weakness will get you raped. A weak man is useless and of no value to her.
Women are protected. Women get that protection from men and the status they have in society. Her man's status and strength affects her social standing. Men must protect themselves and fight for/get status just to not get f*cked with, any weakness will get exploited. Men have to prove their value every day. The second you show weakness or don't bring value (unemployed or retire) you are dead to all women.
