I noticed last night watching the SOTU address that a lot of the women wearing white had ERA buttons, from the 70's, I suppose. It kind of died 40 years ago, but now they are trying to revive it. I am thinking that things have changed a LOT since then, and it might be to mens advantage that we get it passed. What do you all think?

Background: (since I know a lot of you weren't even born yet when this was a thing!) ERA, or Equal Rights Amendment, is a proposed amendment to the US Constitution which reads simply:

Section 1. No political, civil, or legal disabilities or inequalities on account of sex or on account of marriage, unless applying equally to both sexes, shall exist within the United States or any territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof.

Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."
