A woman is the most dangerous pet a man can own. You can NEVER let your guard down. Women give you shit to make sure you ARE the shit. And when you are at your best or when you are at your worst, she will instinctively try to break you, your focus, and/or your frame.

Should you choose to sign up for an LTR with one of those horrible creatures, the same rules that work for pickup, one-night-stands, and short-term relationships still apply. You must communicate to her, through your actions, that she is a part of your life by your choice and not the other way around. You lead, she follows. You are the Captain, she is the First Mate.

Run your life as a benevolent dictatorship. Ask her for her input if you want, but you make the decisions. Leadership is manipulation for the benefit of all, and you must manipulate her into behaving correctly.

You must maintain your attractiveness at all times. You need to actively engage other attractive women when she is watching, just enough to generate some attraction in them, so she can see that other women find you attractive. Women want to be with a man that other men want to be, and other women want to fuck.

In order to behave correctly, a woman must constantly have that little doubt in the back of her mind that you may ditch her at any time for one of the other prospects that show active interest in you. In other words, you need to run a constant, low-level dread game. She needs to feel that you are constantly almost going to slip from her grasp.

The more Masculine you are, the more Feminine she will become.

But realize this. If you think that home is a place to come to so that you can lay down your sword, and relax... put that notion right out of your head. That is why the man's happiness must ALWAYS come first. Because he can NEVER put his sword down.

It can get a little tiring opening new girls. They don't know shit about me, I don't know shit about them. You may or may not like little details about her personality or her body.

I get into LTRs because that girl becomes an expert in pleasing me. She knows exactly what I like, how I like it, and knows she's gotta keep doing it to stay in my life. New girls don't offer that kind of customized satisfaction. It's all weird and awkward and slow in the beginning.

A lot of dudes on TRP come off as the pump and dump type but I've never really been that way and I don't really enjoy it all that much. I thoroughly enjoy taking girls out, talking to them, doing stuff with them. I like laying outside under a night sky with a girl I really like. I'm a bit romantic and use TRP principles to ensure attraction.

It's true that you have to be the leader, remain confident, be decisive. If all the men in the world just stopped acting like little bitches and just became more confident and decisive and masculine, LTRs wouldn't be such a god damn problem. Yeah, sure, most won't last forever, but they are still enjoyable and have their advantages.

Like all things in life there are pros and cons to everything. There are pros and cons to minimal commitment and spinning plates and there are pros and cons to commitment and LTRs. You can't really "WIN" at life, you just choose a path that makes YOU happy.

A successful LTR is really just as easy as a ONS, or a two-month long fling, or really any relationship with a woman, because women are stupid and short-sighted and always live in the moment, and if you can be awesome at all times, she will always be enthralled. Just be the guy she wants to have a ONS with every single day of your life. It's really that simple.

Comedic exaggeration aside. But there's truth to it. The bottom line is you really have to be her best option, always. If you're not, she may or may not cheat, but she will lose respect for you, and it will add up.

Does this sound exhausting? Then maybe you're a chump who doesn't deserve to have a successful LTR. The requirements are you have to be at the top of your game at all times. For the rest of your life.

Why would you NOT want to be at the top of your game at all times, for the rest of your life?

Regardless of your relationship status, why would you not want this?

Basic respect going both ways
