Yeah no. He might not be an asshole but hes more at fault than the wife. In this instance the son didnt feel comfortable sharing with the dad. This is common I didnt like to share with my dad when I was young either. Maybe the mom is a cunt but in this case the dad is being a prick. Let the kid vent how he wants.
