I posted a few months back about living in a gynocentric hellhole in a corner of the country. I realized I needed a new name for obvious reasons. I do not post much but am on here everyday. I am a young professional who has been in the dcs system thanks for my pharmaceutical speed addict narc ex for 2 years. That is not a pejorative, I am being clinical. I get my daughter withheld from me while my ex goes around and gets piped by multiple ex military clerical workers who seem to have the honor of a rat. Regardless I was abused and cheated on throughout, and like most dudes found themselves in that insane whirlwind. Of course I am not perfect, I fucked up, but the things I endured were criminal in multiple ways. See my ex actually introduced me to MGTOW, when I met her she espoused the tradcon values, had a horrible narc mother who decimated her father, which made me believe she was different, but generally it was my fault for being an idiot and ignoring the red flags. I take full responsibility for my role. My ex was a covert, and by the time it all came to light, we had a child. It is true, they have infiltrated mgtow, she showed me some of the big mgtow youtubers. But it is all a cover. She knew about mgtow in 2013, when we met. Just typing this makes me feel strange.
Truthfully at this point, I come here to not feel alone, to laugh, to get insight, to see things differently, to empathize, and to learn from all of you who are walking this path, or trying to avoid it. One of the things that compels me to post today is how this reddit gives me new perspectives and helps me further uncover what we have really been experiencing. One of the things I have been thinking about recently is freedom, and this in particular; Women expect you to give up your freedom to fulfill their dreams. The cost of a women is the loss of self determination, money, freedom, sleep, mobility, health, I can continue. While for women, the cost of a man is a not a cost but the converse, she has gotten her wish, now state enforced. She has absolutely no obligation to be a good wife, and furthermore, no incentive.
It may seem obvious, but the one line I have heard that I think about whenever I think about marriage is this "think of a marriage you actually envy". I laugh to myself every time because even if the women seems like a nice person, she is a still a wall and chain with expectations that put you in the grave early. Anyway, thanks all you guys for sharing your stories, advice, and everything else. Look at us, almost 90,000, how fast did we gain the last 10k. Crazy.
