With the "yes means yes" crap, that appeal of clubs and discos is largely gone anyway (for both sexes). Back in the day, clubs and bars were the place if either gender wanted a hook-up. Not anymore. Way too much legal threat against men to make this viable.

Because it's a 100% return on investment to go party as a woman: guys will buy you free drinks / foods, the hottest guy is always down to fuck, et cetera. So a woman is really just out $10-$30 in terms of makeup or maybe a new dress she bought at a discount store.

Meanwhile for a guy "partying" is expensive as hell: no woman in my life (that I can recall) ever bought me a $12 cocktail.
