On average, we’re looking at attrition rates of 31% vs 24%, and it only goes higher as you move up the corporate ladder. By the time you actually reach the C-suite, women leave their jobs at over three times the rate of their male colleagues: 24% vs 7%, according to the Network for Executive Women. So, let’s be honest and ask the real question.

So they're quitting the jobs the have for various reasons, work lower paid jobs (generally speaking) and wonder why there aren't more female CEOs?

Got to this in the report this is based on:

...females report on the support they receive from those above them in the corporate hierarchy, only half say they receive support when they accept a new challenge or job. Men’s perception of support from peers and their managers ranks higher, at 63 percent.

50% of the women receive support, 63% men. Got it.

...six out of 10 women say their supervisor entrusts them with a range of assignments that help prepare them for their next role,

60% of women are trusted by their superiors. Wait, so 10% are given assignments their bosses don't support?

the remaining 40 percent are not receiving the corporate stretch roles and breadth of experience necessary to place them in contention for positions of higher responsibility and authority.

37% of the men are in the same boat. Guess that 3% makes all the difference.

At this point, I started skimming and when I got to this:

at a time when more women than men earn graduate degrees

I thought of Equifax's data breach and their Chief Security Officer (a woman) having a Master's in Fine Arts.

Let's just say I an not sure the conclusions here are very well thought out.

And guess which gender is supposed to solve this? #MeToo was not mentioned.
