While I agree with you that male chastity can put a handle on hypergamy in a controlled environment where all men participate in male chastity, nowadays women are a single right swipe on Tinder away from a guy that does not practice chastity.

Truly, the only places I know where chastity is practiced are in religious environments (I'm Christian) and even then it's not a guarantee. Then again, the Bible teaches women:

Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.
1 Peter 3:1-2

I truly believe that chastity goes hand in hand with religion, though of course such a topic is often frowned upon in this subreddit. But it is also quite easy to see how a reverent woman is quite feminine and attractive in a man's eyes through RP lens. It is natural.

If men weren't so insanely desperate for sex, hypergamy would not be an issue. If both women AND men saved sex for marriage (or at least for someone who they are deeply in a committed relationship with) a lot of problems would go away. The issue is that the Chad's keep deflowering and pump and dumping all the virgin girls, forever making them lose the ability to pair-bond and start the CC journey.

Call me a typical American but I'm all for letting women do what they wish. If she wants to slut it up and bathe in the ocean of degeneracy, I defend her right to do so. In the same vein, I also defend my right to never even consider marrying such a woman. Rather than trying to restrict and regulate peoples' sexual behaviors we should educate them on reality, what exactly the consequences of those behaviors entail, and let them make decisions on their own:

"If you're a whore, no man will want to marry you."
"If you're a lazy fatass, no woman will want to fuck you."

Just like with TRP. We arm men with information then let them decide what to do with it.

Whenever you think of a solution to a problem, and that solution begins with "If only everyone would..." then your solution is useless.

Guys "practicing chastity" will just relieve women of the unpleasantry of having to reject them, while the top 20% alphas will keep fucking to their heart's delight.

tl,dr: male chastity makes hypergamy more convenient and comfortable for women.
