I had the same feeling this year and so on as well! I do not know why,one day while i thought about arguing with an aunt of mine for politics,culture etc.,i thought to myself "This is a waste of time" and i just stopped arguing not only with her but with most people for that matter. I really do not know if its a good thing or not.

Yup. The human brain will protect itself at all costs. It's difficult to accept that you don't know everything and that you're not in control. The simple minded find this the hardest to accept.
The dunning kruger effect.
Facebook and social media have exacerbated this to a societal altering affect (effect?)
