Your favorite place you've traveled to in the world?

It depends what you like. I've been to a lot of places, and I can't really pick a favorite because they are very much different.

If you like art museums and famous man-made stuff, I'd say to go to Europe.

If you like a combination of beautiful weather, lots of big open spaces, unusual animals, some good birds, a good tourism industry, and a lot of choices of different places to visit, I'd say to go to Australia.

If you want absolutely beautiful weather, in a tropical island atmosphere, I'd say to go to Hawaii.

If you like seeing unusual birds, and lots of different interesting natural places, all in a relatively short distance of each other, I'd say to go to New Zealand.

If you like to see the famous big zoo animals in the wild, I'd say to go on a national park tour of South Africa.

South America has a ton of natural wonders too.

If you want interesting cultural experiences, with a mix of old and super-new cultures, I'd say to go to Japan.

I haven't traveled the world at all, but I get told by quite a few people from all different backgrounds and places in the world that they've been to many places and didn't find as nice of a place as this. Of course, they're omitting the high crime rate. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The scenery here really is stunning. Beautiful sun rises and sunsets almost every day. Overcast days are rare here. Doesn't get as hot as places like Phoenix, AZ but also has milder winters than places like Denver, CO. Lots of wilderness to explore, plenty of ancient ruins and carvings called "petroglyphs" to discover, lenient gun laws, lots of outdoor activities.

The people here who hate it focus heavily on the crime rate and they refuse to get out there in nature and appreciate the beauty of the wilds that surround the city. In other words, people who complain about this place simply subject themselves to torture, and then complain that they are suffering.

There’s beauty everywhere. Can’t go wrong with the right perspective

That being said, Rocky Mountains and North Clearwater Beach are my two favorites

Rome, Italy.

Venice and Milan were great too, I just didn't like Florence.

I actually really enjoyed Tenerife, and Trinidad. Tenerife was fairly clean, and had more touristy shit, but I went there with my family. Trinidad, I have been to a few times for work. Going out with the locals there can be... entertaining. I have to say though, I really prefer my motorcycle trips into the mountains alone. I'm looking forward to my son joining me someday, we will see. Probably my favorite place otherwise is Kauai. Just a beautiful, lush island with lots to do and see but less touristy bullshit. I'm not even really a beach person, but I love it there.

I traveled a lot and that made me realize that my favorite place in the world is actually my own country, France
