I was reading a book and I realized something... I remembered that in the movie Titanic, Rose was able to marry an attractive, rich man but instead goes for the “cool, fun, bad boy” Jack. Even if you are a 10/10 Giga Chad if you don’t give her the tingles she won’t be with you.

I think the point was “personality > money” but still, we see this all the time.

She could had a life with kids and been week for doing absolutely nothing, but instead she lives alone with her daughter making pottery.

We know Rose meant a lot to Calvin (the rich guy) because she says she killed himself when they got the U.S.
