Story1: I was at a bar with friends, standing amongst them and other random people in another group. There was a giant beer bong thing on a table that looked similar to a sitar. I was discussing how crazy it looked with a cute girl from the other random group, and mentioned that it "looked like that musical instrument, the sitar." Then I asked her politely if she knew what a sitar was.

Her: "of course I know what a fucking sitar is"

My friend who was facing away from me turned and gave me a wide-eyed "wtf" stare.

Me: "ok cool, just wondering since we are in Tennessee and it's an Indian instrument."

She mentioned something to the effect of its 2019 and she's not dumb, but I made sure to immediately separate from her while she was talking and walked to the other side of my friend group, 10 feet away.

I guess it is easy to forget your manners when you're a bitch. I was not trying to hit on her, only making conversation.

Story 2: girl that I matched with on tinder has a picture of a mountain sheep blindfolded on her profile. I saw her out in a bar with her friends. I split from my friend group, walked over to her, introduced myself. She smiled like she was intrigued, and we started discussing life, her occupation as a wildlife biologist and I brought up the sheep. I didn't know it was a sheep at the time so I asked her about the blindfolded GOAT in her pics. She immediately changed her demeanor and put on a bitch face. She straight up said, "it's a sheep and I don't want to associate with someone who doesn't know the difference between a sheep and a goat"

What the fuuuuck. I was like ok, and just walked away. She blocked me on tinder after I insulated she could have taken the opportunity to educate me and i made an analogous reference to something I'm highly educated in, how it would be a great way to bond over the sharing of knowledge and information.
