The problem with labels is that it means one thing to you and another thing to someone else. You end up arguing without any effort to understand each other.

Why don't you say that multiculturalism means to you, and then people can tell you if they agree or not.

What's this? Is somebody trying to start a racist debate? This is the first I've seen of this Anti-multiculturalism, I don't think that reflects a common opinion here.

I've gotten the notion that social sciences are looked down on as "beta" or feminist bullshit. I disagree wholeheartedly, my career choice takes culture in to account very much so and I argue that we have to understand its importance to the individual and society as a whole.

I do not argue that culture excuses behavior, but cultural and social norms and their development do teach the individual what is acceptable and what is not.

Cultural studies are essential to understanding differing points of views, what is against TRP is saying that culture is culture and there is nothing you can do about it.

In some academic circles, particularly psychological anthropology and associated disciplines, culture is viewed as the "software" that works with our "hardware" and reaffirms neurological pathways, creating a set of social norms and a general public discourse or habitus. This being said, I do not see TRP and multiculturalism/cultural study as opposing.

You're right, the red pill is not a political philosophy, although it is to some degree compatibile with the "right wing" views and since most of the red pill material comes from blogs, they are often seen together.

My biggest problem with multiculturalism (other than having a bunch of third world, fresh-off-the-boat proles loitering around my corner, harassing the infidel women and looking for a way to mug me, of course) lies in the "Divide and conquer" principle: a unified, mono-cultural nation sharing the same principles is much more likely to resist foreign or domestic opression than a bunch of people standing under a flag they don't care for.
