A person I work with got married and not even 6 months in everything is already going bad. He had this girlfriend who was in and out of the hospital and out of the blue they got married. Your first though should be she wanted to use him for free health care since he's military but it gets better. Turns out she's a single mother fighting for custody and guess what, he's footing the bill for it all. He frequently talks about the financial strain and debt this has put him in. It gets even better the custody battle is out of state so his wife is there now saying how she can't leave and they're doing an investigation and all that, smell's like bull to me. She claims she'll have to be there for months while it goes on. Already he was talking about how he has freedom now that she's gone even though they've not even been married for 6 months, the **** is going on? Are you ready for the best part...he told me earlier that his wife wants and open relationship since they're apart and they're both young and "charged" up. NOT EVEN MARRIED 6 MONTHS. He even went on to say that while he doesn't really regret he got married if he could go back he wouldn't have. Did I mention they've not even been married 6 months? My thought is to tell the guy to cut his losses and get the **** out of dodge but I'm not sure how he'll react. When he told me about the open relationship I was just dumbfounded and had to hold myself back from going full MGTOW and shoving redpills down his throat. I feel so bad for him becasue he's genuinely a good guy and works hard but what's he's in now is a disaster and I don't see anyway he can come out of it unscathed. There was no time to advise him from getting married, he announced and the next week it was done. I just can't imagine, if he's talking about all this going on what else is going on that's not being talked about. Is there anyway that I can help him out aside from trying to redpill him and get him out? I want to keep as a friend so when **** really does hit the fan I can be there for him but I can't stand to watch this trainwreck. My worst fear is once she get's custody and milks him for everything she'll cut him lose and even go as far to accuse him of something that'll ruin his career. I'm at a loss.
