So, i'm brazilian and there is this movie from here based on a true story called Bruna Surfistinha(have no idea of how is called in other places), it's about a girl who runs away from her home to become a prostitute, at the start everything is great and but at the end she ends up getting depressed and using drugs which almost kill her. she's got a fat sidekick who is a white knight, he helps her. At the end she gives a speech about how she is proud of herself and how now she wants to marry and have kids(and she did got married, in real life)

basically, she lived like a whore but ended happy and rich

Recently, our current president said that's a shame they used public money to make this movie back in 2011(he's right, i think) and the real person who was the inspiration for this movie is pissed at him

i just think this whole thing is hilarious
