I did what I could. I loved her so much, at one point even more than myself. After the first four or five months of our relationship I discovered MGTOW and told myself that she is either the one or the last (still dont know if this is the final decision until the end of my days but it is for now). I invested a lot of time in her but for some reason it wasn't enough. My mental health was fucked and funnily enough once I discovered where to fire my shots and how to get my life under control and better it, she broke up with me.

"Reason" being there is no love from her side and that I don't support her enough emotionally and I complain a lot. Plus there wasn't enough initiative contrary to the fact that I tried to get her into a call countless times. I drew for her and I even bought her a flower which is something I totally hate. (I love biology, animals and flowers but hate the act of giving someone a flower since it feels meaningless - my personal opinion) I wanted to go to a cinema with her, I wanted to run with her, I invited her on two or three vacations where I went or was supposed to go. We went on some dates and those were fine and we had lunch together every thursday when I was in college.

I don't want to act like a victim, shine a bad light on her or anything lile that. It just so happened that it felt really out of place and so sudden and hurt me a lot. Since I think that when you don't love a person you should tell them right away. I guess I should have known or figured out from how she acted.

That is something from my story. The situation may not be really bad or something but it is a story.

I cried for two days and let my emotions out as much as they needed to go and as much as I could. I feel a lot better than when it happened. After the breakup I bought a book (history of philosophy) and dtarted reading 12 rules for life from J. Peterson. Which may not be as popular here but I really like the guy and his opinions and advice. I landed a job in IKEA just days after the break up (finally!). I know it ain't much since its a simple job but its a start and I eventually want to get to coding which I am practicing.

The day after the breakup I felt like shit but the first thing I did was workout. And I found my young happy self. It was the same as the time when I landed my first muscle up or added some weight on my barbell for the first time.

I know abstain from relationships and more or less from women as well. I am a work in progress and therefore I should not stop working on myself just because I got hurt. And instead of complaining I will invest the love and attention she got into myself.

You guys - I just love you. IDK how to get this across another way but you were here for me. Nobody forced me here, nobody was a rude piece of shit. It feels like everyone in this sub is radiating this good energy or something. (I may sound like a freak but I just feel like this)

Last but not least I would like to thank you all for being here and investing in this community and taking care of people like me. It feels like the whole MGTOW is like my father/uncle and I totally like it here and insist on being here with you and give back as much as I can.

Tldr: My last girlfriend broke up with me and I now abstain from relationships, invest time in books and focus on my career. Thank you MGTOW.

Edit: I am sorry it is this long but I just wanted to get this out there. It helped me a lot. Thanks for reading. Edit2: holidays - vacations
