Their image choices for these articles is always interesting.

If it's a woman involved with a child, they use cute/hot pictures pulled from their Instagram or Facebook profiles.

If it's a man involved with a child, it's almost exclusively an extremely repelling mugshot from the police station.

There might be an occasion where they have the woman's mugshot, but it's always fitted in around modeling bikini shots and the like. You will never see a suave, tailored image of the men. (Nor should you; I don't understand the purpose of including images that should sway you either way from the horrific gravity of the crime.)

Seriously. It's one of those things you can't un-see once you notice.

Skinny-Fat is essentially when you have barely any muscle mass while having a large amount of bodyfat, your body fat is high enough to make you look flabby in certain areas (like a small belly when sitting down, chubby cheeks etc) but at the same time it’s low enough to look slim in baggy clothes, a large percentage of Skinny-Fat men have gynecomastia due to the hormonal imbalances that obesity causes and often require surgery after they lose weight, the hormonal balances make it difficult for Skinny-Fat men to build muscle which is why it’s better to lose weight first.

So your solution is to lose enough bodyfat (even though you appear skinny) to get visible arm veins, a chiseled face and a 100% flat stomach that has slight ab definition in good lighting, then you can build muscle to fill out your skinny body.

Another reason Skinny-Fat men have such a low BMI despite their high bodyfat percentages is that most of them have a small bone structure, for instance you can be 6 ft 3 but have only 6.5 inch wrists, you weigh little because you have small muscles and may have small bones, but you’re not lean like a “regular skinny guy” that doesn’t have any flab, if what your friends are telling you is correct, then you’re mildly obese.

Sorry if this was long but most people have a hard time grasping what it means to be Skinny-Fat so I tried my best to explain it.
