overworking the body is a thing. and being a body builder is unnecessary for longevity and is actually a detriment. work out and build muscle but don't over do it and don't become a marathon runner who does daily 5 mile runs for exercise. that will destroy your body. i think sports athletes r twice as likely to develop osteoarthritis. and also, maintain good posture.

I agree. I take care of myself. I go to the doctor. Recently, on some checkups, the doctors praised my for how healthy I am and how great my bloodwork is. If I had a woman, she'd shame me for being "selfish" and "wasting [my] money" on myself.

I've never understood how growing up reading comics, watching superhero movies, pro wrestling, sports and generally having idols that were ripped (even god damn Jesus has a six pack on some crucifixes), that people still don't feel the need to keep themselves in good shape.

I've literally worked out daily since high school. 33 now.

There’s a lot to be said for the basics . Push ups, chins, dips, prison squats etc. I figure a man should be able to do three things .. climb a tree, wrestle a drunk, and carry a full grown adult away from danger. I could prob do 1 out of those so far but I’m working on it!
