No one can consent to a crime. Since sex is criminalized to such an extreme extent... it only suggests that sex is never consensual. That’s the theory feminism pushes. Until men realize that is the driving theory behind many laws... we will always be 10 steps behind.

Sure a woman can say “stop”!or “no” whenever she wants. And that’s fine for 99.99% of the world. For the bdsm community, you know, all the violent rapists, just use your safe word.

It doesn't sound unreasonable, the problem is it will get applied unreasonably. Sure, if someone asks you to stop, you should, but I fear the sex beforehand will be called rape, that's the issue. Or giving your gf or wife a kiss when she's asleep will be called rape or something stupid like that. BTW it works both ways too and I spose it's good they don't use gender specific language here.

This was from a case out of canada in which a wife into BDSM arranged for her husband to choke her out and have sex with her unconscious body. While she was out, he also inserted a dildo anally into her. tl;dr woke up a few minutes later, took out the dildo, and continued with sex for the evening. A few months later a fight came about that caused the end of the marriage. She then claimed that even though she consented to everything else both before/after and that his actions were consistent with their previously agreed standards of consent, and that she otherwise would have agreed anyway, because she did not explicitly agree to that single action with the dildo that it was a rape. Dude was acquitted based on the laws at the time, but later appellate courts said that even if she agreed to it beforehand for sex while she was unconscious, that consent can only be qualified while she is conscious and she cannot agree to anything while she isn't. This makes it rape for your partner to now wake you with head too, even if you agree on it beforehand.
