They’ve convinced themselves that happiness is that picture perfect snapshot at the end of a movie where the people are walking on a beautiful beach or standing on top of a mountain so they fill their social media with these photos of themselves looking just like that.

Problem is that moment is completely fake for them- they look miserable and hate climbing the mountain so only (fake) smile for the photo, or they are only looking glamorous in Dubai because they’ve spend most of the time literally eating shit..... they live and breathe lies and then wonder why they aren’t happy

I've never seen a single and happy woman over the age of 35. They're constantly going on dates trying to find a man to lock down. Matter of fact, even the single women in their 20s....usually spend their Monday mornings whining about how they were dumped over the weekend/or what a jerk their boyfriend is, etc. I work in an military office setting where there are a lot of female civilian civil service employees ranging from early 20's to 50+.
