Making an attractive offer to other men. I do not recommend being quiet about our freedom, but you all need to understand the consequences of where we are going to end up. As more people are scraped off the bottom and join us, we risk dilution of the message and... ironically- our own freedom.

I agree that the "message" gets diluted... just not in the way that you seem to fear.

What has actually been happening is that people love the IDEA of that "freedom" -- they love the connotations & implied by the label -- so they "adopt" the label... even though it doesn't actually "fit" them, in any regard.

Thus we get a shitload of "faux-MGTOW" -- we get "married MGTOW" and "incel MGTOW" and "MGTOW but still in an LTR with a baby-momma" and "Cohabiting LTR MGTOW" along with "TR/PUA MGTOW" and the ever-present "almost-but-not-quite-divorced MGTOW" and then of course the rinse & repeat "I just broke up with my girlfriend, so I guess I'll be 'MGTOW' for a while" (which then a couple of months later becomes the "I fell off the wagon, but now I'm REALLY gonna be MGTOW [until the next chick comes along]" kind, most of whom are OBJA from falling back into "blue-pill life script"; or one pregnancy test from being doomed to a 20 year indentured slavery).

IOW they're not actually MGTOW at all... they just like the idea of thinking (DELUDING) themselves that they are -- like a slave (still on the plantation) who like to imagine himself as ALREADY being "free" -- to your account name, walking home every night under a gate that is labeled "Arbeit Mach Frei" and repeating that as a mantra to themselves.

Thus the "threat" of the dilution is not that MGTOW actully becomes a threat to 'the system' -- rather that it becomes an entirely meaningless/useless term -- that it's value gets entirely coopted & subverted.

That of course is NOT all that bad... terms are after all just terms.* The problem with it is that it DOESN'T actually help anyone: those who DELUDE themselves that they are/can be "MGTOW" while living a Blue Pill Life Script, are NOT any better off for the self-delusion. Secondarily -- and vastly less importantly IMO -- it also doesn't affect the system; rather than being a THREAT, it simply becomes a "farce"; a parody of it's former self.

Both of those are BAD in one way... because they effectively subvert & destroy the message... which of course KEEPS more men "enslaved."

* The term itself is NOT the concept, it's just a label. It's important to defend it -- while it still holds value -- but once that is entirely lost (which I think it soon will be, is already in the process of being lost), then it's not that big of a deal, we can (and will) move on to another label (or simply not give a shit about having ANY label). Terms, labels, names of things are not after all the things themselves, they are not magical incantations.

Keep in mind, we can only exist because we are of niche. Mainstream attention of new phenomena leads to regulation. Overwrought, because the system -- as it currently exists and is likely to continue to exist (at least this side of a system-wide collapse/implosion) -- has MANY MANY "holes" to escape through. Many different "covers" that can be used.

Keep in mind that the more society denigrates and discards things like "marriage" -- as well as broadening out it's application (polygamy, so called "gay marriage" etc) -- the LESS it is actually able to identify anyone to place a proverbial "shock collar" onto...

For example, "bachelor" taxes are simply NOT going to fly (except in "inverted" fashion via taxing EVERYONE to hand more cash to women/baby-mammas, which already exists and we are WELL aware of... but that has limits which have arguably already been reached) -- to impose those not willing to be "breeder" couples would require (1) imposition on the entire LGBTQBBQ demographic; (2) need to be imposed on married but w/o children people; as well as (3) people who had LOST children, who's marriages had NOT worked out; (4) also likely need to be imposed on "Career Women" etc etc etc.

** Why misplaced? Because you are looking at it from a LOGICAL perspective; that is you are assuming that they actually WANT to "solve" this "problem" (i.e. demographic/population decline problem, and/or "where have the good men gone" problem).

The truth is they DON'T, they don't CARE about this "problem" and do not want -- in fact the very LAST thing they want is -- to "solve" it...

They only care about it as a RUSE -- a "crisis" to take opportunistic advantage of -- a trick to SCARE people into accepting/adopting OTHER agenda (basically more of the same: more feminism, more socialism, etc).

Therefore the message also cannot be dilluted. It can only be missunderstood.

I get it. Concerned that a good thing might be spoiled by too many people jumping on the "bandwagon" and convoluting the message.

But look, mgtow has no leader, no copyrights (that I know of), no organization or even a cause to a goal

It's just a philosophy that is based on the very simple truths that we can hold to be self-evident:

That all women are hypergamous
That marriages are unfair to men
That society wants men to submit to the marriage contract AND accept hypergamous women.

We reject submitting to these societal norms, and choose instead to focus on our own care and well-being and what makes us happy in life.

That's it. We're not trying to change society, rally to a cause, get political, join forces with other "groups" or anything else. Just share in the simple joy of comraderie that can be found by telling your stories to others who share your same philosophy.

I'm going my own way now. Whatever society throws at me to try and bring me back under the boot, well I'll be going my own way then too, fearlessly and happy that I determine the course of my future.

Like other dudes have said, I can pretty much understand where you are coming from. It is true, that when you gain more people involved in something, you can get some poor quality morons fucking things up.

That part I agree with. There are some toxic ass incels that come here now. I mean, I dont fault them for being incels, but the attitude that comes with it is not what MGTOW is about, but they still come here.

So on that we agree.

But the larger picture is that MGTOW isn't some organization or club with regional chapters.

It's a philosophy of living in this modern gyno society in a way that minimizes risk. There just happen to be a few online communities where we gather.

You'll even find that the communities differ a little bit based on which one you're hanging out in. The reddit MGTOW is slightly different than voat, or even independent websites or social media pages.

It's not some centralized thing. There are no membership applications. Anyone is free to come here, and unless they're overly toxic, they are allowed to remain. They might get some downvotes, but until they spew absolute horseshit they can keep posting.

What exactly are you proposing? Locking down this sub and vetting members? What will that do but drive them to another mgtow site?

Are you proposing people treat it like fight club? That's pretty well the norm anyways anyone who has two beans in their noggin knows you can't go around talking about this shit publicly or in mixed company, the normies get so assaulted by truth they kill it with fire.

We're right there, right now. We are at that line in the sand. The poundmetoo bullshit and the kavanaugh hearings were effectively the monster stepping up to the plate, ready to bat. It emboldened so many people all over society, through this digital world we live in, to pick a side and entrench themselves.

So I do have concerns for sure. I just dont think theres anything you can really do to help stop any of the coming shit.

You can only mitigate for the fallout the best you can, and keep society at arms length.
