If you can't be drafted to fight in a war, and you're a net-negative taxpayer, you don't have skin in the game and do not deserve the privilege of voting.

The founders of America understood this, and intentionally crafted the US government as a constitutional republic, instead of a direct democracy. Direct democracy is just early stage communism because of the tyranny of the majority.

It's why the electoral college exists.

It's why states rights were paramount.

Absent checks and balances to prevent it, this country would be known as the United States of New York City and Los Angeles.

Marxists have been working for decades to erode the protections against direct democracy, and universal suffrage is key.
