I am certain there are a some who will do a good job, but it stands to reason that there is some identity politics fuckery afoot.

Justice is supposed to be blind, so it's no surprise that our system is so fucked when we have to play identity politics in fucking everything under the sun now.

About 70% of the population of Harris county is non-white.

White men make up 30% of the Texas population but 58% of state court judges.

Not shown in the photo of the 17 were the other 40 judges appointed, predominantly male.
