This reminds me of the post where a woman wrote about her boyfriend Will. He drove a 20 year old car and wasn’t particularly ambitious. She broke up with him because all her friends were getting married/having kids/buying houses. She then runs into a couple of his buddies at the gym and they tell her her ex inherited his grandfather’s land. Turns out the gas company pays him royalties and he’s super rich, he just doesn’t go around flashing it.
