I told my girlfriend from day one when she moved in that I’ll never sleep on the couch when we fight. I work 60 hours a week and am a full time university student, I need my full nights sleep in my bed to be a functioning adult. Unlike this guys partner, mine actually respects my opinion.

My wife and I sleep separately, usually. Neither of us really give a shit about it, as what do you care if someone else is there when you’re out of it and asleep? We have different preferences for mattresses and bed sizes, but will sleep together when we can’t be bothered to go back to other beds or want to get intimate. It works very well!
