I hate it when guys post on their profiles how much they hate small talk or how I need to "be more creative than [NORMAL CONVERSATION OPENER]"
Especially when their profile is mostly blank.
Small talk serves a purpose. It greases the wheels and gets people into a rhythm. Sales people who tend to be very socially gifted are masters of small talk. It's way more natural and genuine than some contrived tryhard message that makes you cringe just reading it.
Ok buddy you spent 10 minutes crafting this limerick... I appreciate the effort... but you aren't my type. You could have also discovered this by sending me, "hey, how's it going?" like a normal stranger.
If you WERE my type, I could make it past the hamfisted attempt to work something from my profile into the 1st message. But you'd've had me at "hello".
Anyone feel me? Or am I a weirdo?

Honestly she kept it 💯 there on my understanding. Assuming she’s talking about online dating, she’s literally calling out the jokers that spend hours coming up with some witty ass reply. Truth is if she finds you attractive she’s already down to fuck even if you just say “hi”

Of course. Small talk is what girls use to lead on beta bucks without having to provide sex.

Circular logic based in feelings of preference that comes out of spite of a non-universal definition.

Translation: if you are Chad, it doesn't matter what you say.

Honestly, she was probably average to hot at some point so guys tolerated her babbling. Now that she's collided with the wall, not so much.

I hate small talk, if you have nothing important to say I'm not interested.
