When my ex-wife first kicked me out, and before I could find a place to stay, I spent a weekend sleeping in my car.

At first, it filled me with dread, but after two nights, I felt free, and I thought to myself that if I really needed to, I could make this a comfortable and safe place to live - I just had to figure out how.

So after renting for 18 months up until the end of May, and not getting anywhere with anything, and not wanting to stay in Seattle once the summer ends, I took the plunge and started living in my car as a radical change to jolt me back into life.

I'm one month in and I feel great. I'm sleeping better than better, knowing I'm taking positive steps to get my life in order, paying off credit card debt, and working on a plan for where I'll spend the winter but also because I'm constantly active.

I think as men we need to be moving towards something better.

I now see a future where I can do this, at least until I can go full vanlife, wherever I land up over the next couple of years.

In the video I show the solution I've figured out.

With this setup, along with self storage space, I'm able to both sleep and work quite comfortably in my crossover SUV.

I hope this video will help others who might want to save on some rent so that they too might be able go their own way sooner rather than later.
