Except their "tax" math is WAAAAAY off.

They're computing the highest % rates on the full gross income (which is not how it works)... and are also ignoring any/all standard or personal deductions, dependent deduction/credits, etc (i.e. first X,000 of income is not taxed).

Also they're entirely wrong on the reason WHY this was done... this was yet another (long standing) "feminist/women's issue/demand" thing that the cucks in congress caved to.

Plus, they're wrong on who it affects: this ONLY applies to divorces/alimony that get ordered AFTER Dec 31, 2018 -- prior alimony will still be deductible/taxable in the OLD law manner.

So what this very likely means is that -- even though men won't be able to deduct it, and women WON'T have to pay tax on it as "income" -- going forward most "alimony" payments (if any) will likely be LOWER than they previously were.

Besides... in the vast majority of divorces, alimony has long been a "non-issue": the system long ago switched to HEAVY "child support" (chilimony) as a means/ruse of xfering money from men to women in divorce.
