Like the joke goes: if you want to be a millionaire, just be a billionaire and marry a woman.

My uncle used to own a small business bringing in 50k a month and had multiple houses. His now ex-wife spent money like crazy, going to Las Vegas every month. When hard time hits, she divorced him; he had to file bankruptcy and lost everything.

He now lives in a small 500$ rented room working 10 hours a day just to get by.
